A multi-award-winning Director of Theatre, published author, playwright, producer, poetess and filmmaker documentarian. Her work was praised by the L A Times, Weekly, Press Telegram, and Orange County Register to mention a few. Recipient of commendations from cities of Los Angeles, Long Beach and San Pedro for contributions to the preservation of history. Her other books include Bitter Weeds, Black Women Speak (It’s Time We Told Our Stories) and her forthcoming work Daylight Under the Half Moon. Carla loves spending her leisure time with family, her one love, Michael, and her fur baby Buddy Love.

Windy is an award winning elite vocalist whose luxurious sound transcends time and genres. Windy has graced stages from Asia to Africa to the Americas – headlining shows with her soul-stirring repertoire. She is well known for her powerhouse performances with Stevie Wonder, Julio Iglesias, and Michael Bolton.
Windy is also the visionary founder and executive producer of the annual San Pedro Music Festival.

A Chicago native, Windy resides in San Pedro California with her husband, retired LA City Councilman, Robert Farrell.
